Job Summary

Develop and review on-going quality patient care and service delivery plans 24 hours per day, managing fiscal responsibility, quality outcomes, and nursing growth using Evidence Based Practices. Demonstrate competence in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff while developing and monitoring the annual budget for capital, workforce, and operational needs. Manage physician and employee complaints to optimize the work environment, ensure survey readiness by incorporating local, state, and national standards, and foster interdepartmental relationships. Lead staff through performance expectations and mentoring, participating in nursing and hospital committees as requested.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
  • Minimum 3-5 years acute care nursing experience
  • At least 1 year in a Charge Nurse or Patient Care Supervisor role
  • Basic Life Support
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider
  • Advanced Cardiac Life

Desired Qualifications

  • BSN Prepared Nurse
  • BSN prepared upon hire
  • Actively enrolled in BSN program within 1 year of hire
