Job Summary
Lead nursing practice across multiple units by assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating care while assuming 24/7 responsibility for assigned areas. Support the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high-quality, safe patient care, clinical staff competency, and appropriate resource management. Provide leadership and advocacy for the nursing discipline within the hospital organization. Requires an active RN license, BSN or related bachelor's degree, and two years of progressive management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability
- Ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing
- Associate degree from accredited nursing school with a bachelor degree in a health care related field or a BSN
- Two (2) years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full time charge nurse/related position
- Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy
- CPR
- MSN or Master's in a health care related field
