Job Summary
Execute and supervise daily resident care procedures, implementing corrective actions as needed. Oversee the establishment of individual care plans by assessing resident needs and goals, while monitoring nursing notes to ensure compliance with documented protocols. Manage the MDS/RAI process, Nursing Restorative Program, and overall Nursing Services operations in strict adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. Lead the nursing team and maintain records to satisfy administrative requirements and safety standards. This role offers direct mentorship from a seasoned Director of Nursing to develop leadership skills within a skilled nursing facility.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- valid RN license
- at least one year of long-term care supervisory experience
- thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective nursing practices
- ability to adhere to professional code of ethics
- ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information
- ability to stay within Facility Compliance and HIPAA
