Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel. Provide guidance to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors to continually improve home health care services. Assist in managing clinical teams, developing clinician performance evaluations, and conducting annual reviews. Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes impacting staffing, revenues, or expenses. Manage clinical records, statistics, and inventory supplies in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Develop orientation programs and inservice education for new and existing personnel. Assist in preparing the organization's budget and administering policies and procedures. Promote home health referrals in the community and ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards. Act as active executive director in the absence of the executive director.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization
- At least one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- Home Health experience
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with the state and / or organization requirements and is in good working order
