Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel. Provide guidance and counseling to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors to continually improve home health care services. Assist clinical supervisors in managing teams, planning, and evaluating clinician performance annually. Manage the organization's budget, interpret operational indicators for census changes, and maintain adequate inventory supplies. Develop orientation programs, implement continuing education, and ensure compliance with local, state, federal laws and Joint Commission standards. Hires, evaluates, and terminates organization personnel while promoting home health referrals in the community. Act as active executive director in the absence of the administrator.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization
- At least one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- Home Health experience
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with the state and / or organization requirements and is in good working order
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in health care preferred
