Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel, including guidance to coordinators and clinical supervisors. Manage clinical teams, conduct annual clinician performance evaluations, and hire, evaluate, and terminate organization personnel. Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes impacting staffing levels, revenues, or expenses, while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding licensure and Joint Commission standards. Oversee maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, and inventory supplies, and develop orientation and continuing education programs. Assist the executive director in budget preparation, policy administration, and performance improvement reviews. Promote home health referrals in the community and stay informed about field changes to share with appropriate personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization
- At least one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- Home Health experience
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with the state and / or organization requirements and is in good working order
