Job Summary
Lead the nursing department, ensuring exceptional client services and superior care while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and company policies. Maintain optimal staffing levels with skilled, qualified personnel to meet patient needs and goals. Foster teamwork, professional growth, and collaboration through engaging meetings and team development. Oversee the Quality Improvement Program to ensure adherence to best practices and performance enhancement. Conduct audits, inspections, and implement corrective actions to maintain the highest quality standards. Monitor patient outcomes and develop strategies to continuously improve patient care. Address patient concerns promptly and collaborate with operations to address emerging trends. Lead nursing team functions, including conducting home visits as needed. Define and track annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with corporate goals. Travel occasionally for business purposes. Located in Staten Island, this role requires an RN with active license, minimum 1 year home care experience, and 1 year supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license
- Minimum of 1 year home care experience
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a home care setting
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- In-depth knowledge of home health regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make decisive, sound judgments and implement effective care solutions
- Travel occasionally for business purposes
