Job Summary
Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and developing nursing policies, procedures, and protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement patient care plans while monitoring staff performance and providing guidance. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Medicare standards, and manage the department budget for staffing and supplies. Participate in strategic planning to improve patient outcomes. This full-time, day-shift role includes on-call rotation in a long-term care setting in Collinsville, IL. Requires a BSN, current RN license, and five years of nursing leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher level of education
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role
- Experience in a healthcare facility with Medicare patients
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Supervising experience
- RN
