Director of Nursing (DON)

Coordinate resident care with a hands-on management style, develop and revise nursing policies, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure quality. Lead recruitment through interviews, manage disciplinary situations, and make independent decisions during staff shortages or emergencies. Monitor supply usage for cost control while collaborating with departments to support patient care functions. Requires 1 year of supervisory experience and 2 years in Long-Term Care, with a Registered Nurse License, CPR/First Aid, and flexibility for on-call rotations.
