Job Summary
As the Director of Nursing (DON) at The Waters of Batesville, lead and oversee nursing services and supervise the Therapy Department, ensuring skilled nursing and rehabilitation care for residents. Responsible for staffing, training, compliance with Code of Conduct, and coordinating resident services through quality assurance and policy committees. Demonstrates expertise in geriatric and adult care, dementia and related therapies, and regulatory requirements to maintain high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Maintains a current, valid Nursing License as a registered professional nurse, in good standing in the state the facility resides in.
- Possesses a minimum one (1) year of experience in nursing service administration.
- Possesses strong knowledge of state, federal and local regulations as they pertain to long term care.
