Job Summary
Organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Work directly with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care for each resident. Follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies while maintaining established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures. This full-time Director of Nursing role offers a salary of $110,000 - $120,000 per year plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus. The position requires a current, unencumbered RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a nursing community. Required Qualifications
- current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work
- current CPR or BLS certification
- minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a nursing community or other related healthcare community, preferably in long term care
- basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software
