Director of Nursing (DON)

Supervise all nursing staff and plan, develop, organize, and implement the day-to-day functions of the nursing department. Oversee department budgets and communicate with doctors, residents, and family members regarding resident health. Implement new procedures and train nurses on policies while maintaining familiarity with medical software and equipment. Requires 2 years of experience as a DON or ADON in long-term care, an Illinois-registered RN in good standing, and strong critical thinking skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
