Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel. Provide guidance to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors to improve home health care services and assist in managing clinical teams and planning. Conduct annual clinician performance evaluations and hire, evaluate, and terminate organization personnel while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Assist in budget preparation, interpret operational indicators for staffing and revenue impacts, and maintain adequate inventory supplies. Develop orientation programs for new personnel and plan inservice education to meet training needs. Evaluate organization performance through improvement programs and administer policies to ensure safe delivery of home health services. Promote home health referrals in the community and stay informed about field changes to share with staff.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization
- At least one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- Home Health experience
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with the state and / or organization requirements and is in good working order
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in health care preferred
