Job Summary
Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct the nursing service department for a 76-bed long-term care facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Develop and maintain written policies, procedures, and the Nursing Service Procedures Manual while updating the reference library of nursing materials. Create the nursing service organization structure and make reports to the Administrator regarding department operations. Participate in facility surveys and assist the Quality Assessment & Assurance Committee in correcting identified deficiencies. Requires a current active California RN license and three years of nurse management experience in a post-acute or skilled nursing facility.
Required Qualifications
- Current active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
- 3 years of Nurse Management experience in a post-acute / skilled nursing facility, LTC or hospital
- Strong communication skills

- Successful completion of a background check
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical
- Successful completion of a drug screening
