Job Summary
Assess patient care needs, develop individualized plans of care, and evaluate care relative to physician plans and family involvement. Monitor physician services for documentation and visits, conduct patient care conferences, and assess responses to medication and treatment to recommend appropriate nursing actions. Provide medications, treatments, diets, rehabilitation, and restorative care in accordance with physician orders and patient needs while maintaining knowledge of licensure standards and survey processes. Operate the nursing department in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Requires an RN with a nursing degree and leadership experience in long-term care. Full-time role with a competitive wage scale from $115k to $133k, weekly pay, and flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Be an RN with a nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Have leadership experience in long term care
- Have excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
- Possess effective and professional verbal, and written communication skills
- Communicate well with other associates, patients, family members, and visitors providing warm and friendly greeting and an approachable attitude
- Respond to expressed concerns while displaying a helpful, caring demeanor
- answer questions when appropriate in a professional manner
- Maintain a working knowledge of current licensure standards and the survey process
- Operate the nursing department in accordance with the organization's established guidelines, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Prior DON or ADON experience
