Job Summary
Directs nursing operations in a 160-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. Supervises nursing staff, develops and implements nursing policy and procedure, oversees hiring and staffing, ensures staff competency, oversees nursing employee conduct, and assesses health needs of residents. Requires strong leadership and communication skills with a valid New York State RN license and prior DON experience in long-term care (minimum 5 years with at least 2 years supervisory).
