Job Summary
Director of Nursing (DON) with a proven track record in leading clinical operations within a 170-bed skilled nursing facility. Drives clinical excellence, regulatory readiness, and quality improvement initiatives; mentors and retains nursing leadership; oversees staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation; collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care and survey performance, and sustains a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license or compact
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Proven success leading clinical turnarounds and improving facility performance
- Strong history of positive state survey outcomes and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and retain nursing staff
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, quality measures, infection prevention, and clinical reimbursement processes
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
