Job Summary
Provide strategic leadership for all nursing services and clinical operations in our 58-bed, CMS 5-Star rated skilled nursing facility. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining survey readiness and promoting continuous quality improvement. Recruit, mentor, coach, and retain high-performing nursing staff, partnering with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to achieve operational and clinical goals. Monitor quality measures, infection prevention, staffing, and resident outcomes to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and compassion. Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and community partners. Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and survey process
- Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Demonstrated success in improving clinical quality and staff engagement
