Director of Nursing (DON)

Direct, oversee, and evaluate all nursing personnel including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; guide staffing procedures to ensure adequate nursing coverage; set goals and long-term objectives for the nursing department; organize admissions, nursing services, and patient care procedures; develop and enforce policies to ensure legal compliance and high-quality care standards; manage department budgets and monitor expenditures; identify and resolve operational issues or deficiencies; oversee documentation and medical records; collaborate with other departments to improve operations; report department updates and outcomes to upper management; lead and develop nursing staff to promote professional growth and quality patient care.
