Job Summary
Assess patient care needs, develop individualized plans, and evaluate care relative to physician plans and family involvement. Monitor physician services, maintain knowledge of documentation procedures and licensure standards, and conduct patient care conferences. Provide medications, treatments, and rehabilitation in accordance with orders and individual needs while establishing open lines of communication with consultants. Operate the nursing department in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Requires RN degree, leadership experience in long-term care, and strong organizational skills. Competitive wage from $115k-$133k with weekly pay, medical/dental, 401K match, and 10 PTO days.
Required Qualifications
- Be an RN with a nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Have leadership experience in long term care
- Have excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
- Possess effective and professional verbal, and written communication skills
- Communicate well with other associates, patients, family members, and visitors providing warm and friendly greeting and an approachable attitude
- Respond to expressed concerns while displaying a helpful, caring demeanor
- answer questions when appropriate in a professional manner
- Maintain knowledge of documentation procedures including appropriate use of forms, timelines, and Medicare documentation
- Maintain a working knowledge of current licensure standards and the survey process
- Operate the nursing department in accordance with the organization's established guidelines, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
