Job Summary
Director of Nursing leads a team of RNs and LPNs in Camp Hill and Wrightsville, PA to deliver coordinated healthcare for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; responsibilities include training and supervising staff, ensuring nursing protocols comply with state regulations, developing and updating nursing care plans with an interdisciplinary team, monitoring health conditions, managing medication safety, overseeing documentation, and providing after-hours on-call triage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Valid RN license allowing practice in Pennsylvania
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Minimum two years of experience as a registered nurse
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with electronic health record systems; Therap preferred
