Job Summary
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that align with current standards, state, and federal regulations. Communicate these protocols to staff while monitoring their implementation and participating in management meetings to address census and personnel issues. Manage daily clinical operations, supervise supply ordering, and lead the Infection Prevention Program through surveillance, data analysis, and CDC-compliant training. Collaborate with physicians and community agencies to resolve clinical problems and ensure compliance with CMS, OSHA, and AHCA regulations. Maintain proper licensure logs and adhere to the Solaris Health Code of Conduct and HIPAA standards. Requires an RN license, BSN preferred, and minimum three years in nursing administration.
Required Qualifications
- RN license and certification required by state
- BLS certification required
- Must possess and demonstrate a high degree of leadership skills
- Knowledge of current federal and state laws and regulations that apply to the practice of nursing
- Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to motivate and coach individuals to improved job performance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Delivers exceptional patient service throughout all interactions
- Knowledge in healthcare systems operations such as EMR
- Complies with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years in nursing administration or a comparable management position
- 2 years of professional nursing experience, preferably in a urology practice setting
- Must be able to lift 1-25 lbs frequently from 34% to 66%
- Must be able to lift 26-50 lbs occasionally from 2% to 33%
- Must be able to push or pull 1-25 lbs seldom up to 2%
- Must be able to lift 100+ lbs seldom up to 2%
- Must be able to lift 1-25 lbs from floor to chest occasionally from 2% to 33%
- Must be able to lift 26-50 lbs from floor to chest seldom up to 2%
- Must be able to lift 1-25 lbs from floor to waist occasionally from 2% to 33%
- Must be able to lift 26-50 lbs from floor to waist seldom up to 2%
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS preferred
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
