Job Summary
Provide leadership to nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs while ensuring adherence to policies and standards of care. Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer to develop strategic goals and quality improvement initiatives. Oversee resident care plans, treatment protocols, and nursing interventions to ensure person-centered delivery. Monitor care outcomes and staff performance, implementing corrective actions as needed. Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate nursing personnel to foster a culture of excellence. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards. Manage the nursing department budget, resources, and supplies for efficiency. Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal resident outcomes. Maintain effective communication channels with residents, families, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in geriatric nursing, long-term care, and rehabilitation services
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office applications
