Job Summary
Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate the overall operation of the Nursing Services department at Magnolia Haven Health & Rehabilitation Center in Tuskegee, AL. Direct skilled care for both long-term and short-term post-acute patients while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Manage the department in accordance with Administrator directives to maintain the highest degree of quality care. Communicate effectively with elderly patients and staff to address multiple nursing care needs. Full-time position with competitive pay, excellent benefits, continuing education support, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State of Alabama
- Nurse Management experience
- previous experience in a hospital, long-term facility or other healthcare related facility
- knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
- ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- comfort and positive attitude in communicating with the elderly who have multiple nursing care needs
