Job Summary
Plan, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Services department at Providence Park Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Mobile, AL, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Manage skilled care delivery to both long-term and short-term post-acute patients while maintaining the highest degree of quality care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, demonstrating comfort and a positive attitude when interacting with the elderly who have multiple nursing care needs. Requires a Registered Nurse in good standing with Alabama licensure, Nurse Management experience, and knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State of Alabama
- Nurse Management experience
- previous experience in a hospital, long-term facility or other healthcare related facility
- knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
- ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- comfort and positive attitude in communicating with the elderly who have multiple nursing care needs
