Job Summary
Director of Nursing will ensure that assigned Surgery Center(s) operate efficiently and are staffed appropriately, including scheduling, downtime, and overtime; ensure clinical best practices and policies are followed; train and onboard nurses and all Surgery Center staff; participate in recruitment and selection of new staff; develop team members through leadership, coaching, and mentoring; collaborate with physicians and management to operate profitable centers while delivering high-quality patient care; oversee nursing policies and procedures, staff evaluations, performance management, staffing oversight, infection control, quality improvement, budget management, credentialing, regulatory compliance, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to support comprehensive patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of related Ambulatory and/or Circulating Nursing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior staff management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
