Job Summary
Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising program overseeing annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, corporate partnerships, and donor stewardship. Establish annual goals, develop measurable objectives, and monitor departmental performance through monthly KPIs and data analysis. Cultivate relationships with donors, prospects, and community partners while implementing a planned giving program to build long-term support. Ensure all activities adhere to ethical standards, donor confidentiality, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with executive leadership and the Board to integrate strategies across marketing and events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- CFRE
- Proven success securing six-figure gifts
- Experience with donor databases
- Capital Campaign experience
- 5-7 years of progressive nonprofit fundraising, including events
- 3+ years leading a development team
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Active listening skills
- High degree of social perceptiveness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Blackbaud
- Time management skills
- Ability to coach others
- Ability to monitor/assess the performance of self and others
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, English major preferred
- CFRE
- Experience with donor databases (Blackbaud preferred)
