Director of Network Development

Job Summary
Director of Network Development will drive strategic expansion of the fiber network by identifying high-value markets, developing business cases with ROI analysis, and executing new build opportunities. Role requires collaboration with sales to secure anchor tenants (hyperscalers, carriers, and large enterprises), coordination with engineering, finance, and operations to ensure feasible deployment and favorable economics, and leadership of a team focused on market research, route planning, and feasibility analysis. Responsibilities include prioritizing projects, developing cost estimates and timelines, evaluating opportunities using technical and commercial criteria, and shaping network build plans to meet customer requirements and long-term growth strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field required
- 8+ years in telecom, fiber network planning, or business development with a focus on infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of fiber optic network architecture, route diversity, and market drivers
- Experience engaging with executive-level customer stakeholders to align infrastructure plans with business needs
