Job Summary
Director of MTSS and Intervention Services provides district leadership for implementing and continuously improving a K–12 MTSS framework. Leads development and monitoring of academic, behavioral, attendance, and social-emotional intervention systems; ensures alignment with instructional practices, data-based decision-making, and district priorities. Collaborates across departments to build capacity, supports PBIS and restorative practices, coaches principals and MTSS teams, analyzes district and school data to guide decisions, and ensures equitable access to effective interventions for students with and without disabilities. 12-month term with salary on the Director Salary Scale; located in Salisbury, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Special Education, School Psychology, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of successful educational experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience leading or implementing MTSS frameworks at the school or district level
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, intervention planning, and systems implementation
