Job Summary
Director of Mobile Crisis Services in Baltimore leads the Mobile Crisis Response Program 24/7/365 across Baltimore City and Baltimore County, providing strategic leadership and clinical oversight. Oversees a multidisciplinary team, ensures coordination with Call Center, Nursing, Clinical and Crisis Response teams, leads quality improvement initiatives, monitors reports and outcomes, directs recruitment and staff development, and maintains regulatory compliance. Builds partnerships with behavioral health authorities, hospitals, law enforcement, and community organizations; participates in outreach, crisis intervention training, and program enhancements. Must hold a Master’s degree and Maryland licensure (LCPC or LCSW-C) with extensive experience in behavioral health crisis services, and have an unrestricted driver’s license. Serve as an on-call leader and contribute to mission-driven crisis care improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in clinical psychology (MA or MS) or master's degree in social work (MSW)
- Current Maryland State license (LCPC or LCSW-C)
- Current BLS Certification preferred
- Three years of experience as a counseling professional
- Five years of experience working with behavioral health clients in acute crisis
- Two years of management experience in community mental health
- A valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products
- Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems (preferred)
- Ability to maintain moderate physical demands (walking, standing, climbing stairs)
