Job Summary
Establish and operationalize the merchandise planning function by designing standardized planning cadences and implementing global analytics frameworks. Lead top-down and bottom-up financial planning across women's, men's, and non-apparel categories while driving assortment optimization, inventory management, and open-to-buy strategies. Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, sourcing, and supply chain teams to translate plans into vendor forecasts and optimize line plan architecture for margin goals. Build forecasting models that improve accuracy by channel and category, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and financial targets. Manage the rollout of new planning processes and tools to foster a high-performance team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in a planning function
- 5-7 years in Merchandise Planning
- Strong business acumen
- Financial analysis skills
- Technical and creative problem-solving skills
- Resourceful and creative
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to influence, present and defend a business argument
