Job Summary
Director of Men’s Lacrosse Operations coordinates all operations of the Cornell University Men’s Lacrosse Team in accordance with Cornell, NCAA, and Ivy League rules. Supports the lacrosse staff and team by managing day-to-day administrative operations and collaborating with Facilities, Sports Marketing, and Athletic Communications to advance the lacrosse program. Responsibilities include arranging team travel, organizing meals, planning alumni and team-reunion activities, supervising social media content, planning recruiting visits, and managing equipment. Responsible for uploading, breakdown, and sharing of team practice, scout, and game film. Requires frequent evening and weekend work and travel during the lacrosse season. This is a full-time, 10-month per year position with a salary of $55,768 for this 10-month period (annualized to approximately $78,536 – $90,758). The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree with two to four years of experience in a comparable role
- Strong communication skills and in-depth operation knowledge of all associated video equipment
- Familiarity with and the ability to operate film and computer technology to support a nationally-competitive lacrosse team
- Experience with event and operations management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel primarily)
- Experience modeling values that support inclusion, belonging, and wellbeing
- Ability to advocate for individuals from a broad range of backgrounds
