Job Summary
Lead, plan, organize, and manage the operations of the 35-Apartment Memory Care Neighborhood in compliance with state and assisted living standards. Design, schedule, and facilitate engaging memory care programming while supervising staff and providing specialized training on dementia care needs. Serve as the facility resource for all memory care requirements and build strong community partnerships, including with the local Alzheimer's Association. This full-time role requires weekend and evening availability with a focus on enhancing the lives of residents living with dementia.
Required Qualifications
- Full-Time (40 hours/week)
- must be available for weekends, evenings, and flexible hours
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dementia care
- Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) or eligibility for certification
- Strong understanding of the psychological, emotional, and social needs of the elderly and geriatric populations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desired Qualifications
- College degree preferred
