Job Summary
Director of Marketing leads marketing strategy for the gaming division, develops annual marketing plan and budget, oversees branding/advertising/promotions/graphics, ensures regulatory compliance, conducts market research and prepares monthly reports, collaborates with revenue-generating departments, manages staff and SOPs, and participates in executive management activities. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, 5 years of gaming operations experience, 3 years of management/director-level experience, and eligibility to obtain a Mohican Nation Gaming License along with background check and drug screening; must be available to work weekends, nights, and holidays; Wisconsin driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality & Tourism, or related field required
- Five (5) years of operational experience in gaming preferred, demonstrating extensive knowledge in Branding, Advertising, Promotions, Player Development, and Graphic Content Management
- Three (3) years of management experience is required, or directorial marketing level experience is preferred, including development of standard operating procedures, budget monitoring, and staff supervision
- Experience as a Director of Casino Marketing preferred, preferably in a casino with at least 800 gaming machines
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and implement duties efficiently, multitask, and handle pressure professionally
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills in managing the Marketing Department
- Compliance with federal, state, and tribal regulatory guidelines
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License
- Successful completion of Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB) and pre-employment drug screening
- Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
