Job Summary

Own the marketing function end-to-end, driving revenue growth through demand generation and inbound pipeline. Assess existing channels including LinkedIn, newsletter, podcast, and event sponsorships to prioritize revenue opportunities and execute enterprise-focused GTM motions. Develop core messaging and positioning in partnership with the CEO, while managing product messaging, case studies, and sales enablement materials alongside a new product marketer. Report directly to the CEO with full accountability for MQLs, SQLs, pipeline, and revenue. Identify where the biggest growth opportunities lie and place the right bets, moving quickly from hypothesis to data-driven execution without hand-holding.

Required Qualifications

  • B2B SaaS experience selling specifically to other software companies (workflow software, revtech, sales/marketing tech preferred)
  • Experience in industries with non-software buyers (e.g., healthcare, education, government, industrial/regulated sectors) is not a fit for this role
  • Enterprise sales cycle experience is non-negotiable
  • demonstrated experience marketing to enterprise buyers, including long sales cycles, high ACV deals, and multi-stakeholder buying committees
  • Experience limited to SMB or early-stage/self-serve motions does not meet the bar for this role
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience
  • at least 2 years owning a marketing function
  • Demand generation focus with a track record of driving qualified pipeline and measurable revenue impact, not just awareness
  • Comfortable owning a revenue number and being held accountable to it
  • Experience in or exposure to partner marketing or partnerships-led growth
  • Understanding this space is a meaningful advantage and shortens the learning curve significantly
  • Scrappy and execution-oriented
  • You build channels from the ground up, not from a template
  • Strong critical thinking and judgment about which bets are worth making and which aren't
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • You can translate complex product capabilities into narratives that land with the right buyer
  • Senior enough to manage a team
  • not above rolling up your sleeves and doing the work yourself before one exists
  • Portfolio required: include examples of content you've produced and programs you've built or scaled
  • Must accommodate US East Coast working hours

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in PRM, CRM, or partner-led growth platforms
  • Familiarity with HubSpot for marketing operations
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior marketing team members
