Job Summary
Lead GMi's marketing strategy by supervising department employees, directing the Executive Leadership team on marketing needs, and developing brand recognition across the AEC industry. Manage communications to clients and centers of influence, including final approval of external content, maintaining the company website, and overseeing video and photography efforts. Spearhead all client events, industry trips, and open houses while ensuring accurate inventory for promotional closets and managing award applications. Maintain strong connections with General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers through office visits, social media, and active participation in organizations like ASA and TEXO. This exempt full-time role requires Monday through Friday hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend work as job duties demand. The position reports to the Vice President of People and Culture.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the AEC Industry & marketing fundamentals
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to different communication styles
- Excellent skills in time management, organization, writing, proofreading, and editing
- Professional business presence and acumen
- Self-starter, high level of initiative, proven proactive thinker

- 3+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within commercial construction, architecture, engineering, or a related B2B professional services industry
- Demonstrated experience in marketing strategy, brand management, and/or supervision of marketing personnel
- 3 years Event Planning and/or Promotions
- BA or BS in Marketing or Business
- Occasional evening and weekend work
Desired Qualifications
- AEC industry experience strongly preferred
