Job Summary
Director of Marketing leads and executes the overall marketing strategy for a fast-growing golf retail organization. Responsibilities include leading a marketing team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and monitoring budgets, maintaining brand guidelines and environmental branding at retail locations, conducting market research and forecasting, pricing analysis, identifying new markets and opportunities, negotiating service contracts, training and developing supervisory staff, and driving brand visibility and revenue growth. Required qualifications emphasize strategic marketing leadership, budget management, team leadership, strong communication, analytics, and adaptability. Preferred background includes a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field and 10+ years in retail or related industries with a golf-related knowledge base.

- Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services
- Experience managing the marketing function including strategy execution and management of a budget
- Experience leading a team of direct reports and including across an organization
- Experience playing golf at a competitive or collegiate level
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create, implement, and monitor budgets
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions and priorities
