Job Summary

Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to drive referrals across Elizabeth Seton Children's family of organizations, cultivating relationships with healthcare providers, school districts, and community partners. Create compelling provider-facing and family-facing collateral, including brochures, fact sheets, and digital content, while partnering with subject matter experts to translate complex clinical information into accessible messaging. Conduct market research on referral trends and emerging service needs to recommend new initiatives and establish key performance indicators to measure outreach effectiveness. Represent the organization at conferences and coordinate educational seminars, site visits, and webinars to strengthen long-term relationships with external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a relevant field; BA in Communications, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or a similar field
  • Minimum of five to seven years of professional marketing experience, preferably in health care and/or the nonprofit sector and a track record of success
  • Writing samples/portfolio required
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is able to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Strategic, creative thinker with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify opportunities and develop actionable marketing strategies
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish credibility and foster productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences while maintaining the organization's voice and brand standards
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, including proficiency in AP style
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and execute projects from concept through completion
  • Demonstrated analytical and research skills, including the ability to interpret data, evaluate marketing performance and make data-informed recommendations
  • Proactive, resourceful and solutions-oriented, with sound judgment and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated initiative, adaptability and a commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and the implementation of marketing best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Must meet or exceed all health standards and requirements for the position as established by NYS DOH and all other regulatory agencies, including adherence to safety and infection control guidelines and protocols established by Elizabeth Seton Children's
  • Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of Elizabeth Seton Children's, which includes a medical and physical examination
  • Flexibility to work remotely and extended workdays as needed, including attendance at company-sponsored events

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) preferred
  • Photography and basic photo editing experience preferred
