Job Summary
Director of Marketing and Public Relations responsible for planning, developing, and evaluating integrated marketing, branding, public relations, and communications strategies for Phelps Health and affiliates. Oversees branding, marketing, advertising, digital marketing, and media relations; develops annual strategic marketing plans with market research, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and public relations efforts; partners with organizational leaders to support growth initiatives, service line priorities, and community engagement; manages Marketing department staff including coaching and performance management; ensures consistent brand identity and effective media engagement to strengthen reputation and drive organizational objectives. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred or advanced certifications in PR, digital marketing, analytics, CRM, branding, or related disciplines; minimum 10 years in marketing/communications/public relations/business development/strategic planning and minimum 5 years of leadership experience; some travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business, or an equivalent field required
- Master’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred OR advanced certifications in public relations, digital marketing, analytics, CRM, branding, or related disciplines may be considered
- A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, public relations, business development, or strategic planning required
- A minimum of 5 years leadership experience required
