Job Summary
Director of Manufacturing Programs is an execution-focused leader responsible for leading Manufacturing Programs across various product initiatives and portfolios. This role drives strategy, operational efficiency, and program objectives across product development, capital deployment, and global expansion projects. The Director manages a team of manufacturing operations project managers and partners cross-functionally to ensure the successful delivery of strategic manufacturing objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in Lean, Change Management, Manufacturing Systems, Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, Production Planning, Materials Management, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management. Additionally, experience in electrical, energy, or related industrial sectors and implementing large scalable manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
- Master's degree preferred; MBA a plus
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing and operations management
- at least 5+ years in a leadership role
- experience leading cross-functional teams in multinational environments
- proven ability to negotiate complex agreements and partnerships
- excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Travel: 20-40% with some international travel
- typical work hours 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday with flexible scheduling
