Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the Maintenance Department, supervising, scheduling, training, and supporting staff while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and life safety regulations. Conduct routine inspections of the building, equipment, and grounds; manage preventative maintenance programs for facility systems and equipment; and oversee repairs, renovations, and maintenance projects. Coordinate with vendors and contractors, monitor inventory, and respond to emergency maintenance situations to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, warranties, and compliance documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance leadership experience
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently
- Availability to respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed
