Job Summary
Oversee fleet maintenance operations across Jersey City, Bronx, and Brooklyn, ensuring alignment of maintenance execution and achievement of fleet performance objectives. Develop and execute strategies to maximize fleet reliability, availability, and performance by monitoring daily through annual metrics, managing the maintenance budget, and driving preventive maintenance initiatives. Provide leadership and coaching to maintenance teams while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence. Work closely with the Area Vice President of Operations to identify process improvements, optimize resources, and enhance service delivery. Manage work schedules, projects, and assignments while controlling parts inventories, vendors, and suppliers to demonstrate warranty cost savings. Ensure full compliance with DOT, OSHA, ANSI, and other regulatory obligations, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 7+ years of related experience
- Track record on strategic fleet initiatives
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of environmental requirements
