Director of Maintenance Full Time

Schedule and execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements for building, equipment, and grounds. Perform and document safety tests while conducting required inspections to ensure proper functioning of systems for general use and life safety. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing skilled nursing facilities and operate within budget under the Administrator's direction. Manage maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry departments, including interviewing and hiring staff, while providing education and training on fire safety, emergency preparedness, and state/federal requirements. Maintain professional relationships with all departments, staff, vendors, and inspectors. Interact positively with residents.
