Job Summary

Schedule and execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements for building, equipment, and grounds. Perform and document safety tests while conducting required inspections to ensure proper functioning of systems for general use and life safety. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing skilled nursing facilities and operate within budget under the Administrator's direction. Manage maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry departments, including interviewing and hiring staff, while providing education and training on fire safety, emergency preparedness, and state/federal requirements. Maintain professional relationships with all departments, staff, vendors, and inspectors. Interact positively with residents. Full-time role with complete medical/dental/vision insurance, employer-matching 401k, up to 16 days PTO, and life insurance.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years' commercial/industrial maintenance experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum one year maintenance department leadership experience
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Ability to speak Spanish
