Job Summary
Direct and oversee maintenance shops (Transmission, Electronic, Component, Hydraulic, Structure, and Machine) at an FAA Part 145 Repair Station to ensure airworthy, compliant, cost-effective production of aircraft components; supervise and mentor departmental staff, manage materials and tools, enforce policies and regulations, coordinate training programs, maintain facility and records, and collaborate with senior management to achieve operational goals; requires FAA licensing, leadership experience in a repair-station environment, strong communication and planning skills, and proficiency with MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant or Airframe License
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a shop manager in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station performing the work which they will be directing
- Familiarity with aviation industry, aircraft knowledge and technical documents
- Any combination of education and experience to demonstrate proficiency
