Job Summary
Directs the Maintenance Department to plan, organize, develop and direct facilities operations including plant engineering, groundskeeping, safety/security, and oversight of contracted medical equipment; ensures compliance with OSHA and fire and safety regulations; manages budgets, preventive maintenance programs, safety training, and vendor/contractor supervision; coordinates with Safety Officer and HR; ensures 24-hour coverage and reliable operation of plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems; leads facility improvements, asset management, and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred in engineering, architecture, safety, construction management or related field
- Experience in related career field preferred
- Experience in motivating, training, appraising, and directing the efforts of professional and technical staff in a maintenance position
