Job Summary
Architect and execute the company's growth strategy by leading M&A execution and managing large corporate initiatives. Deepen the M&A function through market research, thesis development, and deal negotiation, while integrating acquired companies and establishing best practices. Partner with senior leadership on strategic projects including turnaround transformations, operational excellence, and new revenue streams. Create formal business plans with financial goals, manage project timelines, and provide periodic updates to the SLT and parent company. Drive the creation and diversification of the Optimal Blue Portfolio Company out of mortgage.
Required Qualifications
- M&A experience
- Market research and analysis skills
- Ability to create and maintain vertical specific market maps
- Experience managing the M&A cycle including developing the M&A thesis, sourcing the pipeline, organizing and managing diligence, and negotiating deals
- Experience representing the company at industry conferences and events
- Experience leading integration of acquired companies
- Experience developing Value Creation Playbooks
- Experience overseeing post-merger integration
- Experience partnering with senior leadership on critical, cross-functional transformation projects
- Experience driving strategic improvements across the business
- Experience creating new sources of revenue
- Experience creating formal business plans with expected financial returns
