Job Summary
Direct and oversee all logistics functions within the transportation department, including management of the delivery fleet’s maintenance program, ensuring DOT/CMV compliance, and leading a supervisory team to execute transportation activities. Responsible for budgeting for the Transportation Department, collaborating on go-to-market delivery strategies, maintaining DOT certifications, safety training, and incident reporting, while coaching logistics managers and resolving discrepancies. Proficient use of transportation technology platforms and ensuring vehicle registrations and licensing compliance are also key responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
