Job Summary
Director of Logistics responsible for leading and optimizing transportation and shipping operations to drive cost efficiency, service reliability, and operational excellence. Partners with Operations, Finance, IT, and 3PLs to implement strategic initiatives, improve performance, and enhance logistics systems. Requires strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include securing best shipping rates, evaluating shipments for accuracy and billing, identifying and flagging under-threshold shipments, driving system-wide efficiency improvements, and developing executive-level performance reports with data-driven process enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain management
- Experience with international shipping and import processes preferred.
