Job Summary
Director of Logistics Business Development to lead strategic sales growth across North America within freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and integrated logistics; build and lead a high-performing logistics sales organization; drive new customer acquisition, revenue growth, and long-term partnerships; manage RFQs/RFPs, pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Pricing, Finance, Legal, and Solution teams to support opportunities and execution.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 15+ years of experience in the global third-party logistics (3PL) industry
- extensive logistics and transportation experience supporting customers in automotive, high-tech, CPG, and/or garment industries
- strong leadership and sales-management experience
- ability to travel as needed for customer meetings and industry events
- on-site requirement in Plano, TX
