Director of Loan Closing and Execution (Real Estate)

Director of Loan Closing and Execution to lead the legal, due diligence, and closing execution across a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate credit investments. Responsibilities include directing documentation, closing, and syndication of loans; coordinating with external counsel to ensure documents align with policies and credit standards; overseeing due diligence (legal, environmental, engineering, third-party reports); identifying and resolving transaction risks; driving transaction execution through structured processes; representing execution in investment committee discussions with insights and recommendations; ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements; managing funding and closing processes with clients and title companies; and supporting post-closing activities such as modifications, restructurings, and workouts. Ideal candidates will have a Degree in Law, Real Estate, Business Administration or related field, with advanced qualifications such as LLM, JD, or MBA, and strong experience in loan origination, execution, and capital markets; deep knowledge of commercial mortgage lending, documentation, and due diligence; excellent analytical and communication skills; and experience working with external counsel and cross-functional teams.
